AssembliesAssemblies are important occasions when students and teachers meet together to focus upon subjects appropriate to particular occasions. At Builth Wells High School we hold four different types of assembly:
There is a bilingual element to many of these assemblies. Outside speakers are frequently invited in to address the pupils during their assemblies. The Whole School Assembly takes place in the Sports Hall and is an occasion for thinking about a topic of interest to the whole school community. Year Assemblies address issues specific to the different year groups and are frequently organised by the pupils themselves. House Assemblies are held at times of the School Year when House Competitions, such as the School Eisteddfod and Sports Day take place. Cymraeg Assemblies are for all first language Cymraeg classes and are held weekly.
