| Homework is given when considered necessary for the following reasons: RESEARCH: 10 minute internet question, in order to prepare a child for a forthcoming piece of work CATCH UP: to write up work missed through absence REVISION: for GCSE coursework and exams (should be started at least one month before the exams start) LEARNING BY HEART: some pupils do this for coursework assignments WATCHING TV: watching S4C to further understanding of Welsh |
