During my time there I taught KS3, 4 & 5 Design and Technology, as well as NVQ level 1 and 2 in Engineering and ICT through the medium of Welsh. I was involved in improving standards and in a programme of monitoring and assessing.
Prior to teaching, I was a Design and Development Engineer for fourteen years. This involved designing products from Fibre optic cables to front ends for cars. I feel this previous experience will be of great benefit in enriching the pupil’s experience of design and technology.
