LILY MATTHEWS

Former pupil Lily Matthews is currently part of the “Girls For Gold Development Team” and is a 2012 Olympic mountain bike hopeful. Lily recently came into school as a guest speaker in our “Audience With” series. She told the audience about her training and her decision to join the team. Lily had devised a quiz especially for the “Audience With” which included naming some of the parts on her mountain bike, which she had brought with her. The prize, which was in great demand, was a Great Britain Team shirt. After the “Audience With” Lily took a group of 12 pupils on a cycle ride after school.
