Welcome to Builth Wells High School

Shân Davies

I am very pleased to introduce myself as Head of Builth Wells High School.

Builth Wells High School is a thriving, bilingual, 11-18 non-selective comprehensive, situated on a beautiful site on the banks of the River Wye.

The recent Inspection Report confirms that Builth Wells High School is very inclusive giving outstanding support and guidance to all its pupils whilst providing effective teaching and learning in a positive and stimulating environment.

The curriculum that the school offers is outstanding through the medium of welsh and english and our excellent range of extra curricular activities enrich learners personal, social, moral and bilingual development. The School Council is a pivotal and exceptional pupil body. Inspection Report

Well Done to all pupils who contributed to the non-school uniform days and other fundraising events. We have raised £350.00 for Diabetes UK Cymru. There are around 1,600 children under 18 years of age in Wales who have diabetes. Our donation will help Diabetes UK to support them and their families.
